Vinay met Shri the first day of medical school when she came to sit next to him during lecture. She said hello, he checked stocks on his iPhone. She said hello again, he checked the journal Science. She said hello once more, and finally Vinay looked up to see Shri and couldn’t hold back his smile. Like everything in his life, Vinay knew exactly what he wanted and started his pursuit. Fast forward five years and a cross country relationship—on one unforgettable Friday evening, looking up at her again with that same smile, Vinay asked Shri to be his forever.
Shri and Vinay decided to have their wedding in the Bay Area and were so blessed to have so many friends and family come in for their big day. They chose the beautiful San Jose Marriott so that their guests would be able to enjoy the downtown area during their three days of festivities. The couple envisioned a classic, royal theme for their wedding with a clean and modern finish, and hats off to Flowers by Edgar and Fine Linen Creation for their stunning décor. Both Shri and Vinay were absolutely speechless when they walked into the hall for the first time to walk down the aisle and again in the evening for their first dance. They were so stunned by how beautiful everything had turned out that they had to pause just to take it all in. The blend of Shri’s Rajasthani and Vinay’s Telugu cultures throughout the day in the form of their traditions, clothing, jewelry, food, and music, created an elegant and memorable display of their families joining together.
Since their whirlwind of wedding events, Shri and Vinay have spent hours reminiscing over the stunning photos that the incredibly talented, one of kind JSK photography provided for them. They captured the couple’s real smiles and emotions, all the genuine laughs and tears that could never be staged or rehearsed, and truly portrayed who the bride and groom are both as individuals and as a couple. In each and every photo, Shri can still see Vinay smiling at her with that same look that he had the very first day they met. She wouldn’t want it any other way.
